Join Our Team as an Aquatic Center Manager!
The Mason City Parks and Recreation Department is hiring a seasonal Aquatic Center Manager for the 2025 spring/summer season. This dynamic role offers the chance to lead a team and oversee the operations of a busy aquatic facility. Starting wage is $15.00 and up, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise pool operations, ensuring safety and top-notch service.
Oversee staff training, scheduling, and performance.
Maintain water quality and manage pool chemistry to meet health standards.
Coordinate aquatic programs, including swim lessons and special events.
Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and ready for action-inspect equipment and bathhouse areas.
Assist with staffing and operations for concessions, rentals, and events.

Qualifications:

3+ years of pool operations experience.
Current Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications (CPO & Water Safety Instructor preferred).
Leadership and communication skills, with a passion for community engagement and water safety.
