About Springvale Station:

Positioned in the Kimberley WA, Springvale Station is a 605,000ha aggregation located 70km north of Halls Creek on the boundary of the scenic Purnululu National Park. The station is a breeding property, transitioning a herd from Brahman to Ultrablack genetics supplying quality weaners to Harvest Road's backgrounding properties in the Gascoyne and Pilbara of Western Australia. Springvale Station is the start of Harvest Road's vertically integrated supply chain, which covers breeding, backgrounding, feeding and processing.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Station Manager (or management couple) to manage the Springvale Aggregation. Springvale Station plays a pivotal role in the success of the Harvest Road Agribusiness strategy. As a recently purchased property, there is exciting scope and budget for development of the land, herd and infrastructure to guide the property to a highly profitable and sustainable business.

Springvale will require a manager who has a solid foundation in operations, while having the experience and drive to focus on managing the business, by monitoring and delivering key production metrics, sustainable land management, team development, genetic progression and holistic business management.

You will have:

Experience in management and leadership in Australia's Northern Pastoral industry, being open-minded to new approaches and technologies.
Strong focus on animal production metrics and welfare, passionate about improving breeder fertility, with a strong interest in genetic improvement in Northern Australia.
A good understanding of implementing RCS Grazing for Profit and Bush Agribusiness principles to promote and manage a sustainable business and land asset in line with the business strategy. Exposure to courses offered by the MLA EDGE network provides a great advantage.
Ability to lead and organise a team of high-performing staff with a focus on safety, wellbeing and productivity.
Willingness to develop and maintain a strong horse culture.
