The Solar Installer will assemble, install, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for our growing team! Great pay! Paid bi-weekly! $20-$30/hr, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Assemble and install solar panels on roofs and other structures.
Configure PV systems based on site conditions and customer's needs and expectations
Connect panels to the power grid.
Follow building standards and codes when installing panels and support structures.
Ensure that equipment is weather sealed.
Perform routine maintenance on PV systems.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Experience:

Knowledge of PV equipment and installation.
Knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read building plans.
Ability to read equipment manuals.
Ability to use hand and power tools to install PV panels.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work at heights.
Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders.
Must be able to lift at least 35-45 pounds at a time.
