The Regents of the University of California

The Regents of the University of California is the governing board of the University of California (UC), a public university system in the U.S. state of California. The board has 26 voting members, the majority of whom are appointed by the Governor of California. The Regents oversee the management and operation of the entire UC system, which includes 10 campuses, five medical centers, and three national laboratories.

Sustainability

The University of California is committed to sustainability and has implemented numerous initiatives to reduce its environmental impact. The UC system has set ambitious goals to achieve carbon neutrality by 2025. They have also been recognized for their efforts in sustainability through various certifications and awards.
