The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving wildlife and wild places worldwide. Founded in 1895, WCS manages about 500 conservation projects in more than 60 countries and educates millions of visitors at its five wildlife parks in New York City.
Sustainability Efforts
WCS is committed to sustainability and conservation. The organization focuses on protecting the world's largest wild places in 14 priority regions, home to more than 50% of the world's biodiversity. WCS works on reducing carbon footprints through various conservation strategies and collaborates with local communities to promote sustainable practices. However, specific ESG reports, carbon footprint calculations, and sustainability certifications are not readily available.
