OverviewThe Environmental Program Manager position is within the Project Delivery Bureau of the Agency of Transportation. The Manager directs, plans, oversees and evaluates all functions, activities, budgets, and personnel for the Environmental Program. The Program is responsible for the assessment, permitting, and clearance of capital improvement projects within several programs in the Agency.
A flexible hybrid telework schedule may be available depending on the needs of the team.

Environmental FactorsDuties are performed in offices, and in the field. Incumbents should possess private means of transportation. Attendance at public meetings and hearings is required. Evening or weekend work will be required. A variety of strong adversarial opinions may be encountered.
Minimum QualificationsAssociate's degree or higher AND eight (8) years or more of management experience in one or more the following areas (a) development of program rules and policies; (b) development of long- and short-range goals and plans: (c) program evaluation; or (d) budget preparation OR highway maintenance, engineering, construction, planning or a combination thereof.
OR
High school diploma or equivalent AND ten (10) years or more of management experience in one or more the following areas (a) development of program rules and policies; (b) development of long- and short-range goals and plans: (c) program evaluation; and (d) budget preparation OR highway maintenance, engineering, construction, planning.
Note: Some positions may require registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
