The community you'll be caring for:
AdventHealth is expanding, bringing our quality, compassionate whole-person care to western Johnson County. Our newest hospital in the Kansas City metro area - AdventHealth Lenexa City Center - will include around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services and inpatient beds for medical-surgical, critical care and cardiology units.
The role you'll contribute:
Performs a variety of tasks in the coordination/managing of Environmental Services. Responsible for the supervision and accomplishment of the personnel maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Must work closely with all Departments and staff to ensure the patient's best interest is top priority. Plans, organizes, supervises, coordinates and controls the activities of the Environmental Services Department.

• May develop annual goals and objectives for environmental services consistent with the mission and strategic plan of the organization
• Assigns duties to ensure work tasks are accomplished efficiently and ensures that adequate staff and supplies are available for the shift
• Reviews procedures to insure they remain in compliance.
• Ensures compliance with JCAHO, DNV, Federal, State and Local regulations and standards
• May prepare, evaluate and control the department's annual budget
• Supervises all staff by assigning work, training, hiring evaluation performance, progressive discipline and recommending termination as is appropriate
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
• High School degree or equivalent years of experience
• Three years of technical experience
