JOB SUMMARY Responsible for implementing, operating, and managing the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition / Energy Management System (SCADA/EMS) and related systems that provide real time system monitoring and control of mission critical electrical transmission, distribution, and generation systems. This position focuses on multiple hardware and software technologies including servers, network infrastructure, workstations, SCADA/EMS application software, security tools, and custom software. Focuses on managing and improving the security and compliance posture of the SCADA/EMS environment and related systems. Leads small to medium projects with minimal guidance. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND CORE COMPETENCIES - Manages the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of critical operational technology (OT) infrastructure including the primary and backup SCADA/EMS systems, security information and event management (SIEM) system, security configuration management (SCM) system, and data exchange systems. The critical OT infrastructure includes virtual and physical servers, workstations, network switches, terminal servers, relational databases, and all related software applications.
- On a continual basis, manages system changes, access control, and the security posture of the OT systems in accordance with applicable NERC regulatory standards.
- Improves the security posture of the critical OT systems by refining existing configurations and evaluating/implementing new security technologies/techniques as they emerge.
- Collaborates with peers and external entities to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues and ensure that data flows are reliable and secure 24/7.
- Serves as project lead for small to medium sized projects.

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Senior EMS IT Administrator ($93,342 - $116,678) - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and at least six years of experience in area of assignment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
