JOB OVERVIEW
The Environmental Consultant will leverage their environmental program management expertise to support the organization in producing high-quality technical reports, training staff, and contributing to proposal development. This part-time, variable hour, role will provide critical support to the project management team, ensuring environmental projects meet client expectations and regulatory compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
• Prepare detailed technical reports, including analysis and recommendations, for environmental projects.
• Provide training to staff on environmental regulations, best practices, and project-specific procedures.
• Collaborate on proposal development, offering expertise in scope definition, technical content, and strategy.
• Support project managers with various tasks, including data analysis, compliance checks, and communication.
• Participate in team meetings as requested, and provide expert insights to guide project strategies.
• Other tasks as requested.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental program management or consulting.
• 10+ years of experience working as a federal contractor
• 5+ years of experience working a tribally-owned 8(a)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, standards and permitting processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Other Requirements:
• Valid driver's license.

Salary. The base hourly range for this position is $70-80/hour. The actual base salary offered depends on factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, years of relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, business need, and market demand.
