The Lutheran Home is seeking an experienced and dynamic Environmental Services (EVS) Manager to lead our dedicated team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. In this essential role, you will oversee the daily operations, manage resources, ensure the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our community, and compliance with infection control and safety protocols. Your leadership will make a positive contribution to our healthcare community and those we serve. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Oversee and manage all aspects of environmental services, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining common areas, resident rooms, and care environments.
Lead, train and supervise EVS staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
Ensure that infection protocols and safety regulations are adhered to.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules, monitor performance, and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal cleanliness.
Manage inventory and supplies for the department, ensuring that cleaning materials and equipment are adequately stocked and properly maintained.
Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
Notify admitting personnel or social services of rooms ready for occupancy.
Coordinate resident room moves inside the facility.
Monitor and review timecards, requests off and approve hours for payroll.

Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills
Time management
Attention to detail
Minimum age of 18
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
