Pay Rate:
$69,500 - $92,600
Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP's annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform: - Lead systems and procedures to promote a positive safety culture and ensure a healthy, injury-free workplace.
- Collaborate with local leadership to meet all regulatory HSE requirements and company programs.
- Support safety culture and environmental compliance at the manufacturing facility.
- Track and document all HSE activities, corrective actions, and tasks.
- Assess facility programs, develop corrective actions, and close performance gaps.
- Manage safety efforts, including contractor safety, energy control, hearing conservation, and chemical management.
- Participate in HSE audits and inspections, ensuring deficiencies are corrected.
- Lead incident investigations, develop corrective actions, and manage worker's compensation.
- Plan, communicate, and track employee training, including new hire onboarding.
- Handle plant-wide HSE communications and participate in Area HSE calls.
- Promote safety leadership tools and provide feedback for skill improvements.
- Support cross-functional safety committee activities.
- Maintain environmental permits, inspections, certifications, and submissions.
- Lead improvement efforts to enhance HSE performance.
- Develop and implement site-specific annual HSE objectives with the lead team
The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HSE required
- 3-5 years HSE experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with progressive HSE cultures and safety leadership
- Knowledge of HSE compliance and regulatory requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; Presentation and delivery skills
- Aptitude for organization, prioritization and managing multiple tasks
- Ability to work in a collaborative fashion to accomplish HSE requirements and objectives
- Willingness to travel for training, meetings and benchmarking and weekly support of multiple facilities within geography
