Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join their team. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be part of the engineering projects department supporting maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in SAP, and excellent planning and organization skills which will align successfully in the organization. This is potentially contract to direct hire with beneifts during the contract period as well!
Job Title: Maintenance Planner - Engineering Projects
Location: Colonial Heights, VA
Pay Range: Up to $40/hr plus Benefits
What's the Job?
- Responsible for the planning of maintenance repair and reliability work using SAP Notifications and Work Order Processes.
- Oversee all aspects of maintenance planning including material selection, procurement, and purchases.
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of work orders.
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of work orders via schedule attainment and craftsperson backlog.
What's Needed?
- Proficiency in SAP and familiarity with industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in documentation.
- Experience with Office 365 applications.
- Planning and organization skills in maintenance planning, project planning, or equivalent.
- A bachelor's degree and at least 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area highly desired
