The City is seeking an individual whois interested in reducing the community's water use to help create a more resilientand sustainable water supply. Primary job responsibilities include assisting waterconservation programs through customer engagement and support, inspections and watersavings analysis. In addition to working closely with other water conservationstaff and completing tasks independently, this position will spend some timeoutside of the traditional office environment working with the water utilitycustomers and at community events. Duties and Responsibilities: -Communicate the importance and value of water efficiency. -Provide responsive customer service to internal and external customers. -Represent Utilities at various engagement events across the community, sharing about water efficiency best practices, answering questions, and providing information. -Monitor and respond to concerns across Water Utilities service area to support customers in understanding their water use, resolving potential leaks and other water waste. -Support various water conservation projects through data analysis, research, reporting, and documentation. -Manage and analyze data, including graph/figure creation using Microsoft Excel. -Travel to and perform post-installation landscape inspections at customer's homes who have converted their lawns to water-wise xeriscaping. -Use tablet or computer for data entry in the field. -Manage inspection scheduling and administrative tasks. -Other water conservation tasks as assigned.
