Our client, a prominent leader in the centrifugal pump industry, is seeking a Program Engineer to join their team. As a Program Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting manufacturing excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Program Engineer
Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay Range: $85,000 to $95,000, depending on experience
What's the Job?
- Develop and implement CNC machine programs to support production requirements.
- Identify and recommend improvements in tooling, machining methods, and processes to enhance safety, product quality, and throughput.
- Evaluate and propose new manufacturing technologies and replacement equipment; serve as Project Manager to oversee the seamless installation and commissioning of new machines and technologies.
- Define and document process workflows and routings.
- Provide training and guidance to machine operators on equipment and processes.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred.
- Strong proficiency in CNC programming.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (strongly preferred).
- Technical expertise in CNC programming, fixturing, and machining methods.
- Effective communication and training skills.
