If your goals and values align with Honda’s, we want you to join our team to Bring the Future Job Purpose The Quality Engineer with the core role and responsibility to assure quality products to our final customer through data collection and analysis that supports specifications to manufacturing, confirmation testing and quality problem solving. Key Accountabilities Collect testanalysis data using a variety of equipmentmethods. Test, evaluate, and implement new and innovative technologies to improve overall equipment and process efficiency. Write technical reports to document analysis and countermeasure activity. Review and analyze daily report(s) to identify safety, quality, delivery gaps and develop potential countermeasures and or root cause analysis opportunities striving for continuous improvement. Execute analysis plan for quality concern. Utilize data analysis and PDCA to lead, support, develop and justify solutions with related groupsdepartments for your area of responsibility to solve complex problems. Support conclusion of results after analysis plan Propose countermeasure activity, including process andor specification change Support the development of analysis plan for quality concern. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering 0-6 years experience dependent upon education (co-op internship experience preferred) Positive attitude, open minded, and a team player Ability to solve complex problems through analysis to propose and implement appropriate countermeasures based on timing, quality, and cost Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills Strong self-motivation and desire to work in a manufacturing environment Working Conditions 50% office area, 40% laboratory area, 10% production areas OT of approximately 4-8 hours per week
