SummaryAs a Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing landscape design projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with the design team, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that projects meet the highest standards of quality and environmental sustainability.
Essential Functions- Design Leadership: Collaborate seamlessly with the design team to conceptualize, develop, and refine innovative 2D and 3D landscape designs.
- Client Engagement: Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication, including personalized email correspondence, informative phone calls, and engaging virtual and in-person meetings.
- Technical Precision: Produce detailed and accurate 2D and 3D design plans that serve as invaluable references for estimating and construction teams.
- Vendor Coordination: Maintain open lines of communication with vendors and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of accurate proposals and project estimates.
Required Experience- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in CAD and 3D modeling software, essential for translating creative visions into tangible designs.
- Industry Background: Minimum of two years of practical experience in the landscape or landscape design industry, fostering a deep understanding of project workflows and challenges.
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in standard computer applications, including email, spreadsheets, and cloud-based platforms like Google Drive.
Ideal Qualifications and Skills- Professional Background: Proven track record in landscape design, showcasing a portfolio of successful projects.
- Artistic Flair: Exceptional hand sketching abilities, enabling the quick visualization and communication of design concepts.
- Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD, including shortcuts and advanced features for efficient and precise design work.
- Collaborative Spirit: Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, fostering effective teamwork and communication within the design team.
- Academic Foundations: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in landscape design or landscape architecture, providing a solid educational base and industry-recognized credentials.
