Aquatic Regional Manager to oversee our Anaheim locations. Whether a rising star or an experienced professional, this is your opportunity to lead, inspire, and make a real impact.
As an Aquatic Regional Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our lifeguard teams are trained, empowered, and ready to prevent emergencies while delivering exceptional service. You'll oversee multiple locations, manage day-to-day operations, and develop programs that keep our patrons safe and engaged.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead, train, and evaluate lifeguards and managers.
- Plan and execute hiring events, orientations, and training sessions.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling and staffing for multiple sites.
- Maintain facility-specific policies and procedures and conduct annual or semi-annual reviews of Emergency Action plans and operations manuals.
- Enforce safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure environment.
- Respond to emergencies and provide backup assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to build strong relationships.
- Manage facility setup, inventory, and restocking processes.
- Maintain accurate reports, including incident documentation and debriefs.
- Administer in-service training and performance evaluations.
- Address conflicts with professionalism and fairness.
- Step into various roles to meet dynamic daily needs.
- Recruit, onboard, and support new team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum- At least 1 year of management experience in aquatics or a related field.
- Strong administrative skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Clear, concise communication skills-both written and oral.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours.
- Must have full availability to be scheduled around the needs of the contract including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a StarGuard Elite Instructor Certification with oxygen and slide dispatch (training provided).
Preferred- 2+ years of management experience.
- Experience in professional-level aquatics work.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Have a current StarGuard Elite/American Red Cross/Ellis Instructor certification.
