Job DescriptionThe Aquatics Manager will oversee the aquatics team for Horseshoe Pool. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Manage day to day operations of aquatics team
- Responds to all inquiries in a professional manner
- Ensures Aquatics Team Members offer a safe and friendly experience for all team members and guests
- Helps to manage the financials of the Aquatics business to meet or exceed department goals
- Adhere to department budget
- Helps to cast, train and develop all Aquatics Team Members
- Motivate aquatic staff
- Will ensure the department is safe and successful in operations
- Assure all areas are operating in accordance with SNHD safety standards and company rules and regulations
- Responds to first aid and aquatics emergencies
- Complete daily required paperwork in its entirety
- Prepare various written reports as necessary
- Create and implement ongoing aquatic training programs
- Create and implement standard operating procedures
- Conduct training of staff in water safety, first aid, and CPR
- Ensure that all certifications are maintained
- Development of aquatics staff deck rotation for monitoring pools and all pool deck operations
- Perform regular safety inspections of pools and equipment to reduce hazards and provide maximum safety to the guests
