PremaTech Advanced Ceramics has been an industrial leader for over 30 years machining and grinding high-purity silicon carbides and other ultra-hard materials with a specialty for application in Semi-Conductor, LED, optics, medical devices and more.
Essential Duties:
- Develop and design equipment and tooling to meet production requirements.
- Design and implement systems to improve machine reliability and productivity.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
- Analyze and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Work with production teams to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment specifications, modifications, and maintenance activities.
- Generate reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance activities.
Key Competencies:- Experience supporting Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) equipment.
- Knowledge of high temperature vacuum furnace operations
- Experience with pressure, flow, and temperature control systems and equipment.
- Materials engineering background and Semiconductor industry experience.
- Ceramics Experience.
Requirements
Qualifications:- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, is acceptable. Masters Degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software, PLC programming.
- Attention to detail and time management
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment supporting process equipment, preferably in a chemical or materials industry.
Salary Description
$110,000-$130,000 per year
