High school diploma or GED. One year of code enforcement or two years of investigative experience are required; or Currently employed in the County service with one year of experience in solid waste operations complaint investigation are required. Trainees will be subject to an extensive background screening by the Miami-Dade Police Department and must successfully complete 40 hours of enforcement training. Must possess a Driver license. Must be able to work weekends on a varied work schedule.
