The Pittsburgh Paints Co.Cranberry Twp, PAAs the Environmental Programs Manager, you will be part of a team of professionals that reduce environmental impacts to maintain the operational effectiveness of the enterprise to provide its customers with the best products and services.
You will work a hybrid position out of Cranberry Twp, PA and will report to the Director of EHS.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and support implementation of cost-effective, industry best practices to reduce environmental impacts of manufacturing, distribution and store operations that are aligned to our strategy.
- Be the subject matter expert for all air emission, water discharge and waste disposal matters affecting operations (manufacturing, distribution, stores).
- Support operations and EHS professionals in maintaining compliance with air, water, waste and community "right-to-know" regulations.
- Implement and maintain reporting and tracking processes for air, water, waste and greenhouse gas emissions to meet regulatory requirements and voluntary (internal and external) reporting expectations.
- Monitor the latest environmental and ESG regulatory requirements and lead efforts to develop and advocate for our position with applicable regulators.
- Identify and manage consultants who provide specialized needs related to topics such as air permit revisions and site assessments.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in related field, PE preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience within an environmental function with relevant industry (chemical manufacturing / distribution).
- Experience with environmental regulations (EPA, State and Canadian regulations)
- Understanding of the chemical formulation manufacturing processes and its potential environmental impacts.
- Advocate and negotiate with governmental agencies on behalf of the enterprise
