Responsibilities- Activate photovoltaic (PV) systems to verify system functionality and ensure conformity to performance expectations.
- Check electrical installations for proper wiring, polarity, grounding, and the integrity of terminations.
- Troubleshoot Solar Edge and Enphase solar systems for issues and make systems operational.
- Test operating voltages to ensure operation within acceptable limits for power conditioning equipment, such as inverters and controllers.
- Demonstrate system functionality and performance, including start-up, shut-down, normal operation, and emergency or bypass operations.
- Small Roof Repairs, Trenching, Sistering rafters, and trimming vegetation to clear space for solar equipment
- Main service panel swaps and upgrades, SEC cable replacement, Meter can replacement
- Prepare, organize, and load materials for service.
- Communicate effectively with office management and equipment support hotlines
- Contact homeowners to inform them of arrival times and details of work being performed in a friendly and professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications- Professionally interact with customers while on construction sites
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of houses and buildings
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding ladder safety, construction site safety, and injury prevention
- Able to identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
