Transform Energy, a full-service solar, energy storage and O&M provider, is seeking a Foreman team member who will provide leadership and direction to the team assigned. The Foreman will be on the job site overseeing projects, installations, maintenance and other work as assigned. You will assist the team in the installation of systems, provide instruction and training to team members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently. The Foreman will ensure team members adhere to safety protocols and may lead safety meetings as directed by the Construction Manager. The Foreman will communicate with Superintendents, Engineers, Construction, Project and Operations Managers.
**This position will be primarily responsible for commercial solar projects in Northern and Southern California, including, but not limited to: Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, and San Bernadino County. This position requires frequent travel to all job locations in California to support new and on-going commercial solar projects. This position requires repeated and constant travel and overnight stays**COMPENSATION- $35.00 - $45.00 (non-prevailing wage jobs, WITHOUT valid CA electrician certificate)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Install solar panels on various residential and commercial projects with the highest level of craftsmanship and workmanship.
- Install all electrical portions of installations in a safe, high quality and efficient installation manner.
- Oversee job sites on assigned solar install projects and provide communication on progress to Field Manager, Project Coordinator, and Operations Manager
- Check progress throughout the installation to ensure that installers are installing correctly.
- Ensure all job sites have all materials, tools, and equipment to perform job safely and efficiently.
- Cut, bend, thread and run electrical conduit materials, pull electrical wiring through electrical conduit, terminate electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets and various electrical devices.
- Install and connect wires, circuit breakers, transformers, outlets or other components and systems.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Communicate to the General Foreman, Site Superintendent or Operations Manager potential problems encountered during construction that would affect the schedule or require added materials to be procured.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Use and ensure the proper safety equipment and practices for safe installation with Cal OSHA compliance and adherence to corporate safety requirements and regulations.
- Participate in safety and operations meetings.
- Maintain consistent and appropriate interface with customer throughout construction phase.
- Provide supervision to team members as assigned, providing training and development to team members as needed.
- Contributes and conducts performance evaluations, feedback sessions, recommending salary adjustments, approves OT, takes disciplinary action when necessary, and mediates complaints, resolving personnel issues as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Minimum of 2-years Field Leadership experience.
- NABCEP certification, a plus.
- OSHA 30 certification, a plus.
- Solar Edge Commercial Installer Certification, a plus.
- Journeyman Electrician Certification, a plus.
- Experience that shows progressive growth and responsibility.
- Foreman experience in construction, solar, roofing or electrical a plus.
- Electrical experience; Mechanical Installation experience.
- Professional appearance.
- Strong customer service.
- Must have a strong work ethic and be a person of integrity.
- Problem solver, and a can-do attitude.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must have outstanding ability to direct, supervise, manage and motivate others.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprint drawing and specifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of background check.

The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. 4/10 schedule between October 1st through June 30th and 5/8 schedule between July 1st and September 30th.
