IntroductionThe centerpiece of Killens Pond State Park, conveniently located in central Delaware, is the 66-acre millpond, which was established in the late 1700s. Before the pond was created, the Murderkill River and surrounding hardwood forest were sites of several Native American homes and hunting camps. Killens Pond became a state park in 1965.

Summary Statement This position is responsible for all day to day operations of the waterpark. Recruits, trains, and supervises qualified temporary pool staff. Manages staff performance in accordance with Human Resources policies; schedules staff; provides high quality customer service, ensuring that all pool staff respond to customer service needs and consistently enforce facility rules; responsible for pump room operations and facility operating records. Work is performed under various weather conditions.

Schedules, assigns and reviews the work of seasonal waterpark staff.
- Plans and coordinates maintenance to ensure all areas and facilities of the waterpark are functioning according to established standards.
- Ensures public safety through regular inspection of waterpark facilities.
- Performs appropriate rescue and medical services as required.
- Maintains and compiles narrative records and reports.
- Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.
- Other duties as assigned.

- One year aquatics experience or facility management, working with the public, groups and organizations.
