Job Objective: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and ensure compliance with legal regulations.

- Create and enforce safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Identify potential hazards in the workplace, conduct risk assessments, and prioritize safety concerns.
- Stay updated on relevant safety regulations (OSHA, local laws) and ensure the company adheres to them.
- Handle Worker's Compensation claims as a mediator between the injured employee, manager, and insurance company, as well as maintain legal recordkeeping.
- Thoroughly investigate workplace accidents, near misses, and safety incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.
- Deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels, including new hires, supervisors, and specific job-related safety training.
- Track safety metrics, analyze data, and report findings to management.
- Foster a positive safety culture by encouraging employee participation, feedback, and reporting of safety concerns.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum education, experience, certifications, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma required.
Experience managing safety regulations required.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Analytical skills to identify trends and root causes of incidents.
Leadership qualities to promote a proactive safety culture.
Some OSHA training or relevant experience is preferred.
First Aid certification preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read and understand work instructions, as well as to communicate effectively.
Ability to work scheduled work hours, along with occasional required variances in shift.
Ability to effectively self-manage time and service multiple areas.
Ability to communicate effectively through written and oral communication.
Ability to present to groups of people.
Supervisory Responsibility: None.

Working Conditions: The work environment for this position is a warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather which exposes the employee to outdoor conditions.
