Solar Design Engineer will design solar energy systems.
Solar Design Engineer Duties & Responsibilities: - Design solar panel layouts and create AutoCAD drawings for various projects, considering site-specific conditions and project requirements, and using precise measurements from the site survey team.
- Work with Aurora Solar Modeling program to perform detailed engineering analysis of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including shading analysis, energy production estimates, and system performance modeling.
- Communicate with project managers, operations associates, and construction teams on all projects from design stage through commissioning.
Qualifications: - The ideal candidate must have AutoCAD experience and/or relevant solar PV design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Architecture, or related field.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various departments.
