Job Summary
The Gardener/Warehouseman is responsible for performing a variety of grounds maintenance, gardening, and warehouse tasks. Under the guidance of the Director of Maintenance & Operations and the Director of Nutrition Services, this role includes maintaining outdoor areas, such as lawns, gardens, and landscapes, by planting, pruning, and performing seasonal upkeep. Additionally, the Gardener/Warehouseman handles the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, supplies, and equipment, including books, food, and mail. Responsibilities also include managing inventory records, ensuring accurate tracking and timely delivery of items, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
Requirements / Qualifications
Graduation from high school or equivalent
Two years of experience in a warehouse distribution operation, including the operation of a delivery vehicle
Ability to operate warehouse equipment
A valid California driver's license
