SUMMARYNexamp's Clean Energy Deployment (CED) Rotational Program,
Solar Sunrise, is a 9-month program dedicated to finding and developing the future leadership of our CED Team. By giving participants a holistic view of our entire Engineering, Supply Chain, and Construction operations, the Solar Sunrise program sets the stage for future participants to be successful in career with Nexamp. We are looking for someone with a new perspective and background. We are looking for someone that has the desire to break into the renewable energy field, an interest in growing a career in construction, and a passion to mitigate climate change. This position is on-site 5 days a week.
No Prior Experience is Required!
Recruitment Timeline & Important Dates: Nexamp's Talent team will be reviewing applications and scheduling phone interviews on a rolling basis January through February.
All applications should be submitted by February 21st Onsite interviews will take place in our Chicago, IL office on March 12th (snow date March 13th). The start date for Solar Sunrise will be in April 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES & PROGRAM STRUCTUREParticipants will participate in a 9-month program with three rotations. The goal is to gain an introductory overview of Nexamp's entire Engineering, Supply Chain, and Deployment (Construction) Operations. At the end of the 1-year program, our goal is to have the participants enjoy a long career with Nexamp!
Engineering
Opportunity to explore engineering, Power/Grid integration, Solar Design, and Civil Engineering. These teams work on designing solar arrays, interconnection to the grid, and inter-collaboration with various business units across our organization. At the end of this rotation, you will have a complete understanding of how engineering supports the entire organization.
Supply Chain
This team focuses on project budgeting, equipment procurement, and transportation and warehousing of equipment to our sites. Participants will get a deep dive into the nuts and bolts of our operations. At the end of this rotation participants will have a complete understanding of how supply chain integrates with the entire organization.
Construction/Deployment
Whether a small greenfield ground mount system or a utility sized solar plant, our construction team focuses on the assembly of our solar arrays. Spread across the United States, these teams are responsible to turn on our solar power plants and hand-over these sites to our own Nexamp Asset Management Team. At the end of this rotation participants will have a complete understanding of how Nexamp manages project construction.
The goal of the program is to have our graduates fully trained and confident to assume a full-time role within Nexamp's Engineering, Supply Chain, or Deployment (Construction) teams. While the rotations will be largely based in our Chicago Office, the role you are hired into after will be based on your interests, skills, and business needs. There is a possibility that the role would require relocation; flexibility to move after the program is preferred. QUALIFICATIONS- Interest in working in construction management

Compensation: The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Nexamp is $26/hour. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual bonus programs based on individual and company performance, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans). Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in the Company's stock option plan. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but is not limited to, skills and qualifications, internal equity, performance, and geographic location.
