The Corporate Programs Engineer (CPE) is responsible for maintaining Governance and Oversight (G&O) of the assigned Program(s) for the Salem and Hope Creek Stations as related to Valves, specifically Air-Operated Valves (AOVs), Motor-Operated Valves (MOVs), Check Valves, and Safety-Related Valves(SRVs). In the principal Nuclear Engineer roles, the individual will be required to maintain program documents to meet regulatory requirements and industry excellence standards. In addition, this position is considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) roles and requirements the individual to provide industry leadership on behalf of PSEG Nuclear and to mentor other CPEs. The CPE monitors, trends, and assesses in-program performance and provide guidance to the Salem and Hope Creek Stations to ensure that they are meeting regulatory and industry best practices. The individual may participate in the perform and support roles of program assessments, outage work scoping, program related technical evaluations, plant trouble shooting and lead special Programmatic inspections by regulators, onsite groups, and industry peers. This position requires the individual to lead program focused areas assessments, check-in assessments, and industry benchmarking. Task include maintaining necessary program documentation, preparation and review of Program Health Reports, Program Notebooks, and Program-related procedures ensuring program compliance with regulatory and design/license basis requirements. This position will require supporting the Emergency Preparedness Plan as a manager member and the Engineering Duty Team.
