As a Project Manager, working within the Sales department at PanelClaw, you will manage projects for strategic partnerships where PanelClaw is the established racking supplier by providing project support while delivering world-class service. You will partner with outside sales and the operation teams and contribute to the successful completion of each project.
What You'll DoExternal duties focus on supporting existing strategic partners with dedicated portfolios and projects with PO's in hand.
- Act as primary POC for partners from preconstruction (plan check corrections, finance requirements, logistics) through project close-out (deliver as-builts, warranty transfers, etc.)
- Deliver timely and accurate technical drawings and quotes
- Ensure order accuracy and coordinate deliveries with customers
- Manage BOM changes post-PO, change orders, field modifications and as-builts
- Manage quality complaints (freight damage, shortages, RMA's, etc.) with customers
- Train customers on PanelClaw expectations - lead times, deposit requirements, order changes, and logistics (signing for received material damaged, etc.)
- Deliver recommendations on module specifications and technical levers to optimize projects
Internally, advocate for our customers and coordinate cross functionally to ensure successful project execution.
- Collaborate cross functionally with all PC teams-primarily Outside Sales, Field Services, Sales and Supply Operations, Technical Design and Applications Engineering
- Work with Supply Ops on fulfillment, logistics and scheduling of projects
- Review and reconcile Order Check Reports
- Communicate change orders / BOM modifications to Sales Ops
- Initiate quality complaints and provide background to Operations
- Develop basic understanding of commercial roof construction types and common roof membranes to recommend roof attachments and facilitate complete project documentation;
- Maintain a thorough technical knowledge of the company's products and pricing
- Maintain customer/project level profitability targets
- Perform any other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring - Bachelor's degree (STEM preferred). PMP certification a plus
- 2 years experience in technical sales and/or solar industry
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer focused with excellent listening skills, the ability to clarify questions and overcome objections
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with Salesforce preferred
- Travel Frequency: 10% (trade shows, project sites)

Where You'll Be LocatedThis is a hybrid role, with two days per week in office located in North Andover, MA.
What We'll OfferWe offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, education and location. We anticipate the base salary for this position to be between $50,000 -$60,000, if located in Massachusetts market. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for either an annual bonus or commission, depending on their position. If your desired salary falls outside of these rates, we hope you'll still apply as there may be other positions that better align.
