We are currently seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Resources team in Fargo, ND.

Job Description

Effectively use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design various project features.
Prepare design computations and quantity estimates under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
Assist in preparation of reports, specifications, plan creation, and permit applications.
Interface with CAD designers and coordinate with other engineering departments on complex multi-discipline projects.
Assist in client contact and communications.
May include onsite construction observation duties.

Likely project areas include water resources design projects, including drainage, stormwater, flood control, levee/floodwall, hydraulic structures, and similar projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering, or related Engineering field.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD and Microsoft Office.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with design team and clients.
Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
Solid communication and critical thinking skills, along with attention to detail.
Positive attitude under pressure, strong team player, responsible and self-motivated.
Valid Driver's License and in good standing with periodic travel necessary.
