Fenix Outdoor North America seeks a passionate and detail-oriented
Regional Sustainability Manager to drive our sustainability initiatives across North America.
This full-time role is based in
Louisville, CO,and involves occasional travel within North America and internationally (up to 15%).

WHAT YOU WILL DOAs the Regional Sustainability Manager, you'll join our brand division and the Fenix Outdoor Sustainability Team, reporting to the Group Sustainability Officer. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll implement and oversee sustainability strategies aligned with our global vision. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Collaboration- Partner with the Central CSR Team to design and execute sustainability goals for Fenix Outdoor brands in North America, ensuring alignment with global strategies
- Contribute to the development of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and product sustainability efforts that meet both regional and global standards
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure the integration of sustainability practices into daily operations and decision-making
- Communicate around sustainability initiatives, goals, and progress to company leadership and to the public
Program Leadership- Lead the execution of the Fenix Outdoor Climate, Waste, and Wellbeing Strategies for North America, including setting milestone goals and supporting related research initiatives
- Manage and grow the current CSR programs while identifying opportunities to create new programs that reflect brand and market needs
- Oversee the Retail Sustainability Lead Team program and mentor the North America Sustainability Analyst
- Support the onboarding and training of North American employees to promote cross-functional ownership of CSR initiatives
Sustainability Reporting- Take full ownership of annual CSR reporting efforts for North America, including Cascale's/Worldly's Higg Index, Textile Exchange Corporate Fiber and Material Benchmark, and OIA Climate Action Corps reports
- Collect and deliver data on sustainability performance indicators and contribute to Fenix Outdoor's global non-financial reporting
- Communicate progress on sustainability initiatives to wholesale customers, industry groups, and other stakeholders
Industry and Regulatory Compliance- Monitor compliance with government regulations, including chemical compliance laws like Prop 65 and PFAS bans
- Represent Fenix Outdoor brand in partnerships, industry groups, and public forums to advocate for sustainability best practices
- Work with the Global Sustainability Director to ensure supplier audits, corrective actions, and supply chain transparency meet all applicable standards
Innovation and Engagement- Research and evaluate innovations and technologies to advance sustainability efforts in North America
- Collaborate with external partners to execute projects that enhance product innovation, social responsibility, and community engagement
- Inspire cross-departmental teams to align on sustainability initiatives, leveraging creativity and collaboration to achieve shared goals
WHO YOU AREThe ideal Regional Sustainability Manager has:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in a related field and at least two years of relevant sustainability experience, ideally in the textile or outdoor industry
- Exceptional organization and communication skills with the ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders
- A passion for the outdoors, sustainability, and nature-driven solutions
- Experience working with cross-cultural teams and maintaining global connections
- The ability to travel up to 15% of the year and maintain valid credentials for international travel

The anticipated wage for this person is
$85,000-$115,000annually.
