DescriptionShift Lead - Bilingual Spanish (Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center)is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Shift Lead to join our team at the . This position has the opportunity to make a positive impact on our community by serving as the first point of contact for our patrons while creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
This position requires candidates to be conversational in English and Spanish. Our shift schedule is designed to fit a variety of lifestyles.
Schedules include: 1:45pm-9:45pm Monday-Friday
12:45pm-8:15pm Saturday & Sunday
THPRD is hiring for multiple positions, hours may vary and are based on program need. Part-time benefits (PTB) eligible employees work an average of 20 hours per week but, less than 30 hours, on a year-round basis and are eligible to enroll in a benefits package. Pay Rate Range: $18.22-$20.52
Pay rate range includes a 3% bilingual pay incentive available for staff who regularly use their bilingual or multilingual skills.
Essential Job FunctionsJob duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Greet the public, creating a positive experience for customers through professional and courteous behavior, providing information and assistance regarding schedules, program descriptions and other general district information over the phone and in person
- Answer telephone and direct calls to appropriate personnel and take accurate messages
- Assist the public with program enrollment by, signing participants up for programs, record retention, cash handling, and performing related registration procedures
- Assist with the daily cleaning and sanitization of work and public spaces, equipment and program supplies to maintain the health and safety of all participants and staff

QualificationsAny combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and ability to perform the duties as outlined is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be as follows:
Experience:
- One-year general clerical experience, including public contact, and exposure to recreational programming
AND
Education:- Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
Licenses and Other Requirements: - Fluent in Spanish
- Current CPR and First Aid Certifications
- Must be 18 years or older

Leave - Paid Time Off - Paid leave type for part-time variable and part-time benefits (PTB) eligible employees. Paid Time Off (PTO), will accrue at a rate of one (1) hour earned for every 30 hours worked. This is in addition to Sick leave and may be scheduled by employees for any reason! (available to PT and PTB only)
