Responsibilities: - Project Related Management
- Develop, monitor and maintain project schedules
- Forecast, monitor and maintain project budgets
- Manage project cash flows
- Understand and execute on all requirements pertaining to electrical, building and environmental permits with local, state and federal authorities
- Manage civil, electrical and mechanical quality control processes, with ultimate responsibility for system quality and achievement of manufacturer warranty requirements
- Overall responsibility for the execution and management of company and OSHA safety policies on the job site
- Oversee and manage the on-site construction team
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical system commissioning procedures
- Direct the day-to-day operations of Projects, implementing plans and policies to achieve overall company objectives to ensure maximum operating results
- Manage prequalification and selection criteria for Subcontractors
- Manage system interconnection agreement requirements with the local utility
- Enable others to act. Foster collaboration by promoting cooperative goals, building trust and serving as a role model for others
- Develop Project related policies, plans and programs that will ensure accomplishment of Company objectives
Required Experience: - Experience in large-scale Photovoltaic (PV) / Solar system project management, executing within contract specifications
- Experience managing multiple PV projects simultaneously to include multi-site project portfolios
- Experience with the National Electric Code as it pertains to solar PV system design
- Technical experience with PV system commissioning and startup requirements
- Experience with project management software such as MS Project and MS Excel; Strong computer skills necessary
- Experience writing technical proposals and well-defined subcontractor scopes of work
- Technical understanding of civil, structural & mechanical construction plans
- Experience in execution and management of company and OSHA safety policies on a job site
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, OR equivalent combination of industry experience, education, and training, including OSHA 30 or above
- Currently holds or is in the process of obtaining NABCEP Installation Professional and/or Technical Sales Certification
