UT Benefits This position serves as program manager to the Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation (DNN) Enabling Capabilities in Technology (TecH) Consortium within the Department of Nuclear Engineering (dnntech.utk.edu). The Consortium manager will ensure the quality implementation and execution of the project, including providing strategic guidance to consortium personnel, overseeing consortium communications, budget management, performance management, and managing relationships with external stakeholders and partners.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Advanced knowledge of university rules and regulations, protocols and procedures for budget, account, and fund management as well as personnel management.
- Knowledge of university-specific computer application programs.
- Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, local, sponsor, and institutional regulations, policies, and guidelines.
QualificationsRequired Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management or a field related to the position duties.
- Four or more years of experience in an environment with stringent rules and regulations, protocols and procedures for budget, account, and fund management as well as personnel management.
- Advanced knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques and human resource policies and procedures for staff and academic employees.
- Knowledge of a variety of administrative and operational activities such as project management, event planning, fundraising, risk management, website design, accounting and payroll, and contracts and grants regulations and guidelines.
- Knowledge of common computer application programs, including demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Education and Experience: - Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Management or a field related to the position duties.
- Previous experience managing federal sponsored projects.
