Job Title: Mid-Level PFAS Engineer at Trihydro Corporation
Location: Lakewood, Colorado
Job Summary:
As an environmental engineer in our technical services group, you will support projects across all sectors of the company. These could include solvent, petroleum, and PFAS remediation efforts involving a range of technologies such as carbon filtration, zero valent iron, ion exchange resin, in-situ chemical oxidation, in-situ bioremediation, soil vapor extraction, groundwater extraction and treatment, and others. Wastewater treatment is also within the project portfolio for this position. Work will include characterization and treatment of PFAS for private and government projects.
This full-time position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week and involves a blend of project management, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dependable technical support on assessment and remediation projects.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and marketing material.
- Review draft documents as a technical reviewer and mentor to staff.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams and clients on project strategies.
- Prepare and present technical findings internally and externally.
- Support targeted business development efforts through presentations, trainings, and document preparation.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in environmental engineering and/or PhD and post-doctoral studies.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or a similar study area required, with Master's degrees preferred. PhD candidates are also preferred.
- Course work and lab work involving PFAS.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with clients and project team members.
- Proven employment history with a commitment to safe work practices, with a preference for project experience with PFAS.
- Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables on schedule.
- Dependability, with the ability to work equally well in team and independent environments.
- Ability to travel to client sites and other Trihydro offices.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.

The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $90,000 - $120,000
This position will remain open until a qualified candidate has been selected.
