Description The position provides support at the Aquatic Center and South Trace Golf Course. Daily duties will include running the cash register, cooking food and cleaning food area. Concession Attendants will assist with golf outings food prep and serving in the buffet line. May also assist with other services to ensure an exceptional experience at the Fairfield Aquatic Center and South Trace Golf Course. Examples of Duties - Operate the cash register for all concession sales and prepare deposits.
- Prepare and prep food with minimal supervision for Parks events.
- Empty all trash cans in concession area and clean up the Grille Room
- Assist in the golf outings with the preparation of food and drinks
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
- Any other duties that are assigned by the Golf Operations Manager.
Typical Qualifications Effective oral and written communications skills; ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to develop and maintain working relationships. Must be at least 16 years old. Supplemental Information Moderate physical effort required in working at the Aquatic Center and Golf Course Concessions; moving cases of water/pop; cases of food and other materials/supplies. Maxium unassisted lift is 50lbs; average lift is 15 lbs. Requires ability to communicate verbally in person and via telephone. Work is both indoors and outdoors.The majority of part-time employees of the City of Fairfield participate in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS).
