Transform Energy, a full-service solar, energy storage and O&M provider, is seeking a Commercial Solar Roof Lead team member who will provide leadership and direction to the team assigned. The Commercial Solar Roof Lead team member will provide support to the Foreman and the crew, overseeing phases or steps of the job. The Lead may be tasked with training another team member on a step or steps of the job and will be expected to assume responsibility for various aspects of the job as assigned by the Foreman or Construction Manager. The Lead may also be asked to assume a safety or compliance component of the job. Overall, the Lead will be a lead by example team member that has shown their abilities, knowledge and foresight to help the team excel on every job site.
**This position requires frequent travel, up to 12 consecutive days, throughout Northern and Southern California. This position will provide support and leadership to new and on-going commercial solar projects. This position requires repeated and constant travel and overnight stays. This position may work a 4/10 or 5/8 schedule.**COMPENSATION

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Install solar systems and associated electrical equipment
- Follow safe working practices are followed at all times on the job site
- Support the Foreman and crew to assure the successful completion of systems
- Complete all work efficiently and to a high-quality standard
- Layout and assembly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware
- Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
- Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC)
- Operate machinery
- Document completion of installation
- Clean up of job site
- Ensure outstanding customer service standard is met
- Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety
- Use of PPE while working on solar systems
- May be required to drive corporate vehicle to and from work sites
- Additional duties required as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Experience that shows progressive growth and responsibility.
- 2 years' project installation experience, preferably commercial.
- Electrical experience.
- Mechanical Installation experience.
- Professional appearance.
- Strong customer service.
- Must have a strong work ethic, and be a person of integrity.
- Problem solver, and a can do attitude.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must have outstanding ability to manage, motivate others.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blue print drawing and specifications.
- Travel required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of background check.
EDUCATION- High school diploma or GED required.

The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. 4/10 schedule between October 1st through June 30th and 5/8 schedule between July 1st and September 30th.
