Solar Installer will have solar specific experience and complete solar panel installs.
Solar Installer Duties and Responsibilities: - Assemble job components;
- Layout and assembly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware;
- Mechanical and structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment;
- Basic electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC)
- Ensure proper clean-up of job site
- Attend training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety;
- Responsible for following the safe work practices for the installation team; and
- All other assignments and special projects, as requested by Management.
Qualifications:- 2 + year Solar Installation Experience required
- Must be comfortable with being on roofs with pitched surfaces for extended periods of time, cannot have a fear of heights
- Ability to lift 50-70 pound ladders, ability to climb ladders/stairs
- Ability to work in extreme weather (hot and sunny as well as colder temperatures)
- Clean Driver's license required
- OSHA 10 required
- Willing to work Saturdays/ overtime.
