Job Description
Highland Hospital is seeking a full time Assistant Manager for Environmental Services. The position is full time, Monday-Friday, Evening and Nights Shifts with weekends and holidays as required.
Provides leadership and participates in development of staff, standards and procedures. In collaboration with the Environmental Service Manager operationalize the priorities, and participates in problem solving. The Assistant Manager will support the Manager in the day to day leadership of the Environmental Services department (EVS).
Essential Job Functions: 24/7management of cleaning, waste management, floor /carpet care, and pest control operations. Supporting patient flow, construction/renovation, and infection prevention, and patient satisfaction efforts. Demonstrates ICARE Values in all areas of responsibility. Will act as a mentor for the EVS supervisory team.
SALARY RANGE:
$50,966-$71,386.06
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's Degree in Sciences and/or Business Management, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1-2 years management experience required.
License/Certification Required: None
