Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for hourly production team member positions in our Columbia, South Carolina manufacturing facility. As an hourly production team member, you will need to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
The responsibilities of the Sustainability Specialist will be as follows:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set goals and conduct research hands-on lab scale and pilot operations of sustainability projects.
- Responsible for energy conservation project management.
- Collect and analyze data for different systems functions (Electric, Natural Gas, Oxygen and Water Consumption).
- Develop a sustainability curriculum for current employees to raise awareness of sustainability and implement sustainability practice into daily business.
- Write and implement Standard Operational Procedures into daily business and growing in order to achieve effectiveness.
- Conduct walk through tours of the facility with interested parties and potential stakeholders.
- Responsible for external publicity of the company's sustainability program.
- Job located in Columbia SC.
Required Qualifications:Master's degree in Global Sustainability or related.
Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
Physical RequirementsThis is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
