Water Resources team works to develop and implement practical, cost-effective, and maintenance friendly stormwater control measures. Designs are balanced to minimize costs while providing flood control, enhancing water quality, and protecting wetlands, lakes, and rivers.
As a
Graduate Engineer on our Water Resources team, you will assist with calculations and plans for a variety of projects related to designing, modeling, and developing storm water drainage and management systems for DOT, county, and city projects in the upper Midwest, Class I railroad projects and other private client projects nationwide.

Responsibilities- Prepare design calculations and plans for a variety of design projects
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary environment of team members
- Support projects through the entire lifecycle from preliminary design through construction
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- 2-4 years of post-graduate experience supporting water resources projects
- Previous experience with CADD platforms (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation Open Roads Designer)
- Previous experience with GIS and drainage software (SWMM, P8, HydroCAD, HEC programs)
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications- Active EIT certification
- Previous experience developing construction plans and specifications
$72,325 - $84,805 a year
The listed salary range reflects base pay for candidates with 2-4 years of related experience. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.
