We are seeking a passionate and experienced Manager, Sustainability Reporting and Strategic Projects, to drive our sustainability reporting strategy and support the delivery of strategic sustainability initiatives. This role involves collaborating closely with partners across the business to lead key sustainability reporting and disclosures for our stakeholders and in alignment with applicable requirements. Additionally, this role will oversee strategic projects for implementation of our sustainability reporting strategy.
Responsibilities
• Manage key sustainability reporting deliverables, including for both voluntary and regulatory ESG disclosures
• Interpret and apply internal policies and controls related to sustainability reporting
• Apply sustainability reporting frameworks and methodologies in compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines
• Collaborate for the delivery of double materiality assessments to align and report on the most significant ESG issues for Zoetis
• Support Zoetis' annual Sustainability Report process
• Develop project plans to deliver sustainability reporting and due diligence activities, advancing our progress on Driven to Care and aligning with regulatory requirements
• Coordinate activities to advance policies and programs to meet our sustainability reporting requirements
• Manage gap assessments and closure processes for sustainability reporting
• Support engagement with external stakeholders, customers, including investors and industry groups, to communicate Zoetis' sustainability efforts and gather feedback
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver materials for sustainability presentations and strategic meetings
• Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive sustainability initiatives and projects across the organization
• Benchmark Zoetis' sustainability performance against industry peers and identify opportunities for improvement
• Track landscape changes for ESG disclosures and provide guidance on upcoming trends
Education, Experience, and Skills
• Bachelor's degree is required; Master's Degree is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in ESG disclosures, sustainability program support, sustainability reporting, sustainability project management, or related experience
• An understanding of key sustainability frameworks, disclosures, and regulations including EU CSRD, CSDDD, TCFD, SASB, and CDP
• Demonstrated history of project management experience
• Strong grasp of the ESG data landscape
• Superb written and verbal communication skills, as well as the proven ability to effectively convey animal health sustainability and ESG themes with key stakeholders (i.e., customers, investors, industry organizations)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strategic and analytical thinker with a successful track record of managing complex problems and working collaboratively across departments and levels
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Able to navigate ambiguity and strong problem-solving skills
