Responsibilities- Generate monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc performance reports for customers
- Perform in-depth weekly analysis and compile metrics to present to the team
- Oversight of report generation process, continual improvement to maximize for scalability, accuracy, efficiency
- Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems
- Data stream analysis for accuracy and errors with the goal of developing algorithm logic for software solution
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Develop and repair customized reports from databases to extract and collect data according to client or management needs
- Understand the ins and outs of system architecture with a strong understanding of data flows
- Capable of providing valuable input on where communication breakdowns occur
- Capable of navigating through historians and SCADA systems to extract data, analyze it, and deliver insightful information
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Communicate findings and results effectively to executive level roles
- Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators
- Troubleshooting solar and BESS site assets communications and networking issues (remotely and locally).
- Help our technicians finding root cause of communication drops, signal loss, and or intermittency issues.
- Meticulously apply contract exclusions by understanding site specific contracts and obligations
- Work with Client Services and Operations teams to review deliverables that meet the standard and quality Pearce Renewables represents
- Review data for performance analysis and operational efficiency of generation facilities
- Support Field Operations on process development, execution, questions, escalations to client
- Become a subject matter expert in the reporting capabilities of Pearce Renewables' computerized work management system and support users in wider organization to fully utilize tools and process for the benefit of our clients
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCERequired:2-5 years professional experience in data analysis, technical report writing and networking troubleshooting.
Preferred:Electrical focused (solar and BESS) data and performance analysis, networking management and troubleshooting. SCADA and controls background desirable.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Ideal Candidate will have:- Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development.
- Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Sales Force etc.), databases (SQL etc.),
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Strong networking knowledge and proven history in troubleshooting communications and networking problems.
- Strong knowledge in various communication protocol (Modbus RS485, TCP/IP, serial RS232, DNP3).
- Strong working knowledge of photovoltaic and BESS system.
- Strong Interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Ability to remain on task and self-motivated in a remote working environment.
- A proficiency within Microsoft environment: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- A proficiency in Python coding is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working Environment- Travel may be required - less than 15%
- Normal Office Environment
- Routinely operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Occasionally move about and between Pearce Renewables offices for coordination with stakeholders
- Frequently communicates with employees, stake holders and customers
