Position overview:Based in St. George, UT, The Environmental & Safety, Facilities Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and sustainable operation of a 90,000+ sq. ft. facility set to open in May and manage these same aspects at our facilities in SLC, UT; Dallas, TX; and Cambridge, UK. The role includes managing environmental compliance, workplace safety, facility maintenance, and vendor relationships to support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Environmental and Safety:
- Develop and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Lead the Safety Committee to conduct risk assessments and oversee hazard mitigation efforts.
- Implement and monitor safety training as needed.
Facility Management:
- Maintain good contractor relationships to help take care of facility issues the maintenance team can't do internally.
- Ensure all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are operational and well-maintained.
- Oversee equipment installation during the move.
Maintenance:
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor key maintenance metrics (downtime, response times, and asset longevity).
- Manage contractors and in-house maintenance staff.

- Safety & Compliance Expertise. Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local compliance regulations.
- Technical Proficiency. Ability to utilize LMS software to get employees through necessary trainings.
- Stakeholder Management. Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills.
- Customer Service. Treats internal "customers" with respect and professionalism. Delegates work effectively to the Maintenance team to get projects completed quickly and efficiently.
- 5-10 Years experience in facilities, maintenance, and safety management required.
