The Lead Chemical Field Engineer position for GPA&HTechnologies provides critical support to Honeywell UOP Adsorbents customers. The primary accountability of the position is to conduct breakthroughtesting using specialized analytical equipment at customer sites. In addition,the specialist will be responsible for maintaining the analytical equipment andlaboratory where the equipment is calibrated, as well as coordinating shipmentof this equipment to/from client locations. The specialist will also be accountableto shipping samples to global Honeywell UOP laboratories for analysis. TheSpecialist will have regular interaction with external customers onsite, inteleconferences and in support of other field specialists.
YOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor's degree
- Experience operating laboratory analytical equipment andtheir equivalent in a refinery setting, such as moisture analyzers, mercuryanalyzers, CO2 analyzers
- Experience shipping and receiving equipment to and from bothdomestic and international client locations.
- Experience calibrating analyzer equipment
- Willing to travel extensively (expected travel ~50%)
