Wind Turbine Technicians to join our team across multiple locations in Iowa. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing wind turbines to ensure optimal performance. Whether you have previous experience in wind energy or are mechanically and electrically inclined, this is an excellent opportunity to work in the renewable energy sector with hands-on training and career growth potential.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Identify and resolve system faults and component failures.
- Perform component retrofits and upgrades to enhance turbine performance.
- Follow all safety procedures, protocols, and site regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team and contribute to a safety-first culture.
- Properly use, maintain, and care for company tools, PPE, and other provided equipment.
- Be adaptable to work at heights, in varying weather conditions, and in physically demanding environments.
Requirements - Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Wind turbine experience is preferred but not required (entry-level positions available with training).
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to work at heights up to 300 feet and in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel between job sites as needed.
