Duties: The Supervising Engineer, Water Resources (WR) acts as the manager of the Storage Integration Section to perform and oversee complex contractual, engineering, and operational duties associated with local water supply projects and State Water Project (SWP), as well as other special projects with potentials of integral to SWP functions or affecting SWP operations. The incumbent performs effective matrix management to coordinate efforts across the Division of Operations and Maintenance and the entire Department of Water Resources (DWR).

Special Requirements Must possess a valid California Class C driver's license.
Must possess a valid certificate of registration as a civil engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
