The Opportunity: This role oversees all projects related to facility maintenance, construction, and environmental initiatives and is accountable for field execution. The Implementation Manager ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with the defined scope while maintaining seamless coordination among various teams.
Responsibilities: Project Execution & Change Management:
- Lead and oversee facility maintenance, construction, and environmental projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure execution strictly follows the agreed scope, budget, and timeline.
- Manage and implement any scope modifications through the Change Management Board for approval.
- Direct and supervise field teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct on-site evaluations to verify project progress and compliance with agreed standards.
- Troubleshoot on-site challenges and escalate critical issues proactively.
Budget, Financial Reconciliation & Timeline Tracking:
- Track and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Perform financial reconciliation to ensure that all costs align with the approved project scope.
- Utilize project management tools to monitor progress, report status, and prevent delays.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, field teams, and vendors to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Maintain transparent and effective communication across all project phases.
- Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to stakeholders using PowerPoint and other tools.
Requirements: - 3 to 5 years in the convenience store (c-store) industry, with direct experience in facility maintenance, construction, or environmental projects.
- Project management experience with a proven track record of successfully executing complex projects.
- Willing to obtain PMP certification within one year of employment.
- Leadership: Experience managing teams and working with multiple stakeholders.
- Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of c-store operations and how various departments function.
- Financial Acumen: Strong skills in financial reconciliation, budget management, and time tracking.
Technical Skills: - Proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Trello, etc.).
- Ability to navigate EM+ (Enterprise Maintenance Plus) for work order management.
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills to communicate project updates effectively.
Communication & Collaboration :
- Ability to engage with cross-functional teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
- Servant leadership mindset-drives team success without a "know-it-all" attitude.
