The engineering section assists communities and consultants in developing cost effective infrastructure designed to protect human health and the environment by navigating the existing regulatory compliance requirements, identifying relevant water quality needs, and ensuring reliable long-term design of new and upgrading wastewater treatment systems through sound engineering practices. You will apply your engineering skills to evaluate a wide variety of wastewater treatment process designs while working in a collaborative environment with a technical team having diverse engineering experiences and backgrounds. If you are passionate about protecting Missouri's outstanding natural resources while enjoying a variety of detail-oriented engineering work, this is the position for you.
